RARE PROTECTION FOR RARE BEERS

Our bottles are completely wrapped in wet-strength natural wrapping paper for light protection. Only this light protection, in combination with bottle conditioning, guarantees the long-lasting freshness and quality of the rare beers. The wrapping technique is a proprietary development of the Insel-Brauerei. The natural wrapping paper for our labels is from FSC-certified sustainable forestry. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international certification system for forest management. Its principles guarantee the responsible management of forests, the protection of endangered animal and plant species and the preservation of the forest ecosystem.

RETURNABLE BOTTLES IS OUR CONCERN

We use standard reusable bottles in the sizes 0.33 l and 0.75 l. The bottle labels are attached with reusable glue. For our used bottles, the natural wrapping paper is removed from the bottles in a standard cleaning machine. The detached paper is returned to the recycling system. The returned bottles are collected, cleaned, fed back into the reusable pool and refilled. In April 2021, we put the world‘s first inline reusable wraparound bottle washing system into operation!
