WHAT IS RÜGENER KREIDEWASSER?
The groundwater source for RÜGENER KREIDEWASSER®, lies above the chalk layers in Rambin on the island of Rügen and is extracted using a special osmosis system.
RÜGENER KREIDEWASSER is prepared by hand from the RÜGENER KREIDE® and this drinking water. As a result,RÜGENER KREIDEWASSER® is very pure, has a high calcium content of 600 mg/l and is also low in sodium.

Was ist Rügener chalk?
Rügen is the island of chalk. It was formed by the deposition of the shells of microorganisms (mainly coccolithophores) from primeval seas. The large chalk deposits were formed 67-100 million years ago
The chalk is extracted in the north-east of the island, on Jasmund, in the hinterland of the famous chalk cliffs. Rügen chalk consists of around 98% pure calcium carbonate. Doctors began using it as healing chalk over 100 years ago.

RÜGENER KREIDEWASSER®is the natural source of calcium for an active and healthy life. RÜGENER KREIDEWASSER® contains 600 mg/l calcium from Rügen chalk. Calcium is the stuff that life is made of. Our body contains approx. 1 kg of calcium and we need at least 800 mg of it every day. A 0.75l bottle therefore provides over 56% od the daily requirement.
